Photo Day Info

We recognize the busy schedule parents keep today and time is not a luxury to be wasted. We appreciate your passing on some tips to help us both keep everyone smiling!

Coaches and Managers

Please advise your team to arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled photo time. Starting on-time is the single most important factor to staying on-time. Send a team rep over to check in with our staff once most of your team has arrived. The majority of Photo Days we run ahead of schedule and can begin taking individual photos before your scheduled time even begins. We take your group pictures last so we don’t need everyone present to begin.

Parents

Make every effort to arrive 15 minutes prior to picture time. Make sure your player has all the equipment they need; bats, gloves, hockey sticks, proper shoes, etc. It’s never too early to start putting on the pads, tucking in the jerseys and fixing the hair. We ask that only players and coaches enter the photography area.

It is a challenging task to photograph a group of young people in a limited amount of time. Many younger children can be shy or anxious in a group photo setting and other kids become rowdy and wild. Adding a group of parents in the vicinity and other cameras begging for heads to turn undermine the job we are trying to do. Let us take the pictures on Photo Day. If this is the first time your child has been in front of The Big Lights, they will be OK and you will too!
